All About Sevier County

Welcome to Sevier County! On this website, we’ll fill you in on local information and recommended businesses to look into as you move and integrate into the Smoky Mountains:

Update: 12-12-16

As you probably know by now, our area literally came under fire in late November/early December due to a series of wildfires and hurricane-strength wind and destroyed whole sections of residential, commercial and National Park property in the Smokies. While we would to dissuade any ideas and notions that the Smokies were “devastated” by the fires and no longer worth considering for vacationing or newly permanent residency, it is very true that many people lost pretty much everything in the disaster.

We’d like to encourage anyone and everyone visiting our page to consider donating to worthy causes in an effort to support those who lost their jobs, houses and more during these disasters and there are listed as follows:

Sevier County Food Ministries

Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries

The Sevier County Humane Society (for pets who were displaced during the wildfires) –

Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic

And we’d like to conclude with a video message from Dolly Parton. Thank you for allowing us this donation message.
